Featured Vender

When it became apparent that a new farmers market was opening in this area, Rusty Acres Herb Farm was the first vender to sign up for the Rainbow Oaks County Square Farmers Market. This is because we strongly believe in our beautiful city and want to promote it as a visitor destination point.

You feel like you are in Provence when you view their booth at the farmers market. Everything that can be made from these beautiful lavender plants can be purchased from Rusty Acres. Including the plants themselves. The list of different lavender product is almost endless. There is something for everyone. Lotions, soaps, sachets, dryer bags, moth repellent bags, spice blends, herbal teas, decorative items, to name just a few.

Did you know that lavender can be used as a Culinary Spice? Rusty Acres cook book "Lavender Cuisine" will get you hooked on this wonderful herb!

Need advice on how to grow herbs and/or vegetables? We are always happy to share our growing tips!

Rusty Acres Farm is located only 2 miles over the hill from Rainbow Oaks Country Square. Depending on the season, fresh produce can be found at Rusty Acres Farm. Lemon cucumbers, rainbow colored bell peppers, heirloom tomatoes are a few of the special items you can purchase. In the spring, there are vegetable plants and herb plants are available throughout the year.

Rusty Acres is owned and operated by Jim and Judi Brady. On Sundays you'll find Judi at the Rainbow Oaks Farmers Market and Antique Show, while Jim stays to greet you at the farm. The farm has 140 different verities of Lavender Plants, as well as several hundred other herb plants.

The farm is far away from the noise of the city on a beautiful hillside, with a view that goes on forever. When you visit the farm, it is hard to believe you are in southern California.

We look forward to seeing you, however if you cannot make it to the Farm or to the Market, please visit our web site anytime.
